About the Event
The Carice Singers and their Conductor George Parris are celebrating Arvo Pärt's 90th Birthday by performing his choral works across the country. For this concert at St James' Church in Chipping Campden, they present some of Pärt's most expressive music alongside Thomas Tallis's sonorous motets and incredible Lamentations of Jeremiah. Flowing seamlessly across centuries, these two masters of scared music will be in dialogue with each other, forming a deeply meditative whole.
