Composer Academy: Showcase Concert

This evening showcase features four new pieces written by a carefully selected group of leading young composers, including introductions and interviews.

Expect to hear some completely new sounds and get an insight into the creative process of writing music.

Now in it's 11th year, Cheltenham Music Festival's Composer Academy is one of the most sought-after talent development programmes in the country, and this year's edition has included a week of intensive workshops and seminars led by award-winning composer Daniel Kidane.
