15th Anniversary Appeal:
£15,000 to help us go where other choirs don’t
Founded by George Parris in 2011, The Carice Singers is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2026 with significant recognition for its work both in the UK and internationally. The ensemble has recently been praised as “one of the UK’s most adventurous and accomplished choirs” (The Guardian) and “a vital voice in contemporary choral music” (Choir & Organ Magazine).
Earlier this year the choir was shortlisted for the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Ensemble Award, singled out for its exceptional performances and support for today’s composers. In September, the group will be travelling to Utrecht to give its Netherlands debut at the prestigious Gaudeamus Festival, and later this year Signum Records will be releasing our long-awaited recording of Sir Michael Tippett’s choral music.
With the increase in demand for The Carice Singers and limitless scope of our ambition, we are in need of support to operate and fulfil our artistic vision now more than ever. The below video tells the story of just one of our recent projects.
We are launching an anniversary appeal to raise £15,000.
Any donation you are able to make towards this target, however big or small, will directly fund the following three aims:

Commissioning composers working at the cutting edge of music and performing these new works as much as possible;

Raising awareness of our recent heritage by championing remarkable choral music of the last 100 years;

Supporting emerging artists including singers and composers, enabling them to maintain a world-class standard and take risks in their creativity.
